- Yes on 6

  • Amendment 6 is a citizen-led constitutional amendment that will make the initiative petition process a fundamental right, allow courts to revise ballot language through lawsuits, ban the legislature from weakening the people's power to petition, ban the legislature from overturning or changing laws enacted through the citizen's petition process or passing laws similar to those rejected by referendum without 80% approval of the State House and State Senate, and keep the existing vote and signature requirements for initiative and referendum petitions.

  • We support Amendment 6 because we believe that direct democracy is the people's voice, and that politicians and elites don't get to ignore us. Our political system works best when people are put first, and we can't trust the legislature to do that, so we have to do it ourselves.

- No on 3

  • Amendment 3 is the legislature's attempt to re-ban abortion and constitutionally ban gender transition procedures for trans kids with it. As Democratic Socialists, we believe in unfettered healthcare access for all people, and that includes trans kids and people who can give birth.

  • Missourians passed Amendment 3 in 2024, which protected reproductive healthcare like abortion, with 51% of the vote statewide. Donald Trump won the state of Missouri with 58% of the vote. Missourians of all parties, Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Green, Libertarian, and Independent, came together and voted to overturn Missouri's cruel total abortion ban. Politicians don't understand what "no" means, so let's remind them again.

- No on A

  • Proposition A is a citizen-led referendum on Missouri House Bill 1, a gerrymandered congressional map that was passed mid-decade to split Kansas City into three different congressional districts and take Missouri's congressional map from 6-2 to 7-1. This unprecedented move was done because Trump and the fascists are scared of losing power in Congress, so they had to try to cheat to win.

- No on 7

  • Amendment 7 would create a "Show-Me Prosperity Investment Fund", which would be tax-dollars approved by the legislature going into a fund that is then invested in the stock market that Missouri tax-payers would likely never see or benefit from. The end-goal is to eliminate all state taxes, especially income tax, and give rich people another tax cut.

  • Amendment 7 is unlikely to lead to ever lead to the elimination of state taxes, but until then, it places funding for important state services at risk if politicians use revenue to build up the fund instead of funding necessary programs.

- No on 8

  • Amendment 8 would require sheriffs to be elected, despite being elected in almost every county already, it would give them even more power, and would take away the citizens' ability to recall sheriffs, leaving it in the hands of the Attorney General (who is a fascist).
